"Lilac" Vintage 1940's CC41 IIOII Lilac Crepe Silk Dress & Corsage Jacket
This incredible 1940's IIOII ration mark crepe silk dress and jacket, in the softest shade of lilac, is a rare piece to behold and never again find.
Her high rounded neckline is framed by a stitched ribbed bodice, in diagonal and straight stitches, that create texture and depth to the crepe silk.
Her mid length sleeves boast stylised seams along the front creating the illusion of small cuffs.
Her fitted bodice, accented by the cinched in waistline, is drawn in by the matching fabric belt.
Her elegant skirt, showcases 4 stitched down pleats to the front, that mimic the texture of the stitches along the bodice.
Her matching jacket is set off my 3/4 length ribbed sleeves to match the bodice, and a simple cropped length, accented for a divine matching crepe silk floral corsage.
The dress has thick shoulder pads, and so does the jacket.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.
Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed. All our measurements are taken whilst the garment is lying flat, we then double these measurements to reflect the actual size.
