"Riviera" Vintage 1930's Silk Floral Dress UK 10
This breathtaking 1930's silk dress, with a floral daisy pattern in shades of blue, brown and yellow, on a dark brown background, is the perfect piece for your vintage wardrobe.
Her rounded neckline is framed by a Peter Pan collar, trimmed with a pleated edge, and drawn together by a matching silk tie, creating a small key hole neckline. Her full length bishop cut sleeves, are drawn in my small cuffs, with small press stud fastenings. Her fitted bodice is set off by an upward pointed seam that runs from the waistline to beneath the bust-line, and is framed by a frill pleated feature, that gives the illusion of a jacket.
Her cinched in waistline is drawn in by a matching fabric belt with a large mother of pearl feature buckle.
The bias cut of the dress skims the figure and is finished by a trim of pleats along the hemline, creating an iconic 1930's cut skirt.
