"Cerulean Florals" Vintage 1950's Silk Cerulean Blue Floral Dress UK 6 US 2

Made in the most eye catching shade of cerulean blue silk, with a floral pattern, this original 1950's dress is the perfect piece for your everyday vintage wardrobe.

Her v shaped neckline is framed by pleats to either side of the décolletage, that join in a cross over. Her 3/4 length sleeves frame the fitted bodice, accented by seam beneath the bust-line.
Her cinched in waistline is accented by a tier peplum, that gathers to the front left hand side of the hipline in pleats and sets off the elegant pleated sashed panel, which is perfectly sewn into the construction of the skirt.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.

Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure you favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed. All our measurements are taken whilst the garment is lying flat, we then double these measurements to reflect the actual size.
